Columbia firefighters secure gas leak near Hyatt Park Elementary

Columbia Fire Department officials said they have secured a gas leak near the Hyatt Park Elementary School.

Officials said the leak was contained to a HVAC system and there was no threat posed to any of the school’s students or faculty.

Students and faculty are now back inside of the school and will resume normal day operations.
