Charlotte police publish photos of suspected looters, curfew imposed
In the wake of violent protest Wednesday night and incidents of looting and property damage in downtown Charlotte, the Charlotte-Mecklenberg Police Department , Thursday night, started publishing photos of suspected looters on its Twitter account @CMPD.
In addition, late Thursday, Charlotte's mayor imposed a curfew starting at midnight.
ALERT: @CLTMayor and @CMPD have enacted a citywide curfew beginning Sept. 23 imposed at midnight until 6 a.m.

The curfew will be in effect each day until the end of the State of Emergency is declared or until the official proclamation is revoked.

As the night progressed and the midnight curfew neared , police gave the public a look behind the scenes at their operation center and reported that as of 11:40pm there were no reports of civilian or law enforcement injuries.
