A cat with a “grumpy” face needs to find its owners, California Highway Patrol officers said.

The “frazzled feline” was found darting through traffic in Hayward on Tuesday, Dec. 3, officers said in a news release on Facebook.

Officers rescued the cat, noting its resemblance to the internet-famed Grumpy Cat, the agency said.

“After spending some time with this little gal, it’s clear she has a home and someone out there must be missing her!” officers said in the release.

They are hoping to find her owners and ask anyone with information to contact them on the Facebook post.

“Adorable fuzzy face,” read one comment on the post.

“We want that cat, if it doesn’t find a loving home. Seriously,” another comment read.

The original Grumpy Cat became an online sensation in 2012, BBC News reported. The Arizona cat named Tardar Sauce died in 2019.
