Your next Whataburger run could cost less than a buck.

On Friday, Aug. 8, customers can get a classic #1 Whataburger for 75 cents at participating Whataburger restaurants nationwide on in-app and online orders, according to the Texas-based burger chain.

The digital-exclusive offer is available from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. local time, and you must be a Whataburger Rewards member, the restaurant said.

Additional purchase isn’t required.

The classic hamburger features a large beef patty topped with lettuce, tomato, pickles, onions and mustard all served on a toasted bun, according to its website.

It marks the return of National Whataburger Day as the brand, known for its made-to-order burgers, celebrates its 75th anniversary with new and returning favorites. On Aug. 5, it launched the limited time Bacon Wrangler Double alongside a new fruit-forward take on its classic Dr Pepper milkshake.

“Whataburger’s story has always been one about people — the fans who’ve made us part of their everyday moments, the Family Members who serve every meal with care and pride, and the communities that have welcomed us like family for 75 years,” Debbie Stroud, president and CEO of Whataburger, said in the release.

The chain now operates more than 1,110 stores in 17 states, according to its website.

“This anniversary is our way of saying thank you,” Stroud said.
