This SC mom gave birth on Mother's Day — for the second time in 6 years
Mother’s Day is particularly special for a Beaufort family after two of their daughters were born on the holiday.
Jerri Shears gave birth to baby Aunalise at Coastal Carolina Hospital at 8:47 p.m. May 13, according to a news release from the hospital.
The baby’s big sister Aurorrah also was born on Mother’s Day in 2012.
Aunalise weighed 8 pounds, 5 ounces and measured 20 inches long.
“We’re so happy she’s finally here!” Jerri Shears said in the hospital's news release.
