SC Gamecocks make list of priciest football game days in NCAA. Here’s the cost, ranking
With an average cost of $277 to attend a game, the University of South Carolina was ranked seventh among 100 NCAA football programs.
Oddspedia 2025 College Football Gameday Index gathered information on the cost of tickets, beers, sodas, hot dogs and parking for two fans at Williams-Brice Stadium.
This is the second consecutive year USC has ranked in the top 10 nationally. It is the third most expensive gameday in the SEC, Oddspedia said.
Charles Bloom, USC’s executive associate athletics director and chief communications officer, said the numbers on single-game tickets likely were taken from the secondary market. That would be resales.
“According to our data, the average public single-game ticket sold by USC Athletics was $75 last year, not the $186 that Oddspedia has listed.,” he said. “Home football games at Williams-Brice Stadium were sold out for almost every game by the end of September last year, which drove up the secondary market prices.”
That is a result of a successful season in which the Gamecocks played four Top 25 teams at home.
Also, food prices have not increased for the last three seasons, but there have been several incremental adjustments in alcohol prices.
“It is not lost on us as an athletics department to provide our fans with a first-class game experience at a reasonable cost.,” he said “Under Shane Beamer, we have filled Williams-Brice Stadium to 97 percent capacity with 18 sellouts. “
The most expensive gamedays are Colorado ($302), Alabama ($295) and Texas ($292).
The cheapest: Western Kentucky ($84), Arkansas State ($86) and Ohio ($100).

“Did we just get a new favorite football team?” Oddspedia said in a news release.
