Major traffic delays on I-20 as rescue workers rushed to a burning bus

All traffic heading west on I-20 was halted and rerouted Saturday morning after a charter bus caught on fire, according to the Lexington Police Department.

I-20 west at South Lake Drive was closed around 10 a.m. Saturday when a charter bus went up in flames, police said. Traffic at the location was detoured onto South Lake Drive.

Lanes reopened at about 12:30 p.m. and the bus was cleared from the interstate.
