Greg Cote Show: Masters banquet, Lamar Jackson debate, Catchphrases 22/21, more
The latest edition of The Greg Cote Show, Episode 318, is out now! It’s another never-know-what’s-next variety show with even more curves than usual because myself and boy Christopher are side by side in the same location ... but with a different background. (Is it the christening of our long-awaited news studio...?)
This is our 318th episode overall and 15th of 2026, and we welcome you back as always.
Here’s some of the new show’s menu roughly in chronological order:
▪ Masters Week banquet! We sample and judge the culinary fare shipped straight from Augusta: Egg salad vs. BBQ vs. the famous pimiento cheese. Also, we argue the current state of golf. Great as is, or is there a reason no Tiger/no Phil leaves a palpable void?
▪ The Lamar Jackson needs a Super Bowl debate. I react to some of the response generated by my comments about Jackson on a recent Le Batard Show.
▪ Top 50 Catchphrases Countdown continues with numbers 22 and 21 as I give the etymology and Chris and Yeti react.
▪ The Mount GregFour Bracket Challenge championship result is revealed.
▪ Bill Lawrence/Rooster update, with a new development via JuJu Gotti.
▪ Yeti reveals the bizarre Easter tradition practiced to this day in Finland.
▪ What if a worker in your house (i.e. cable installer, painter, plumber) asks to use your bathroom and spends a long time in there evidently sitting down? We discuss.
▪ New Dad Jokes and Three Facts, Jack!
▪ Two kegs of Stella.
There’s all of this and more in our new GCS #318! Aside from occasional bonus episodes, a new show drops every Monday morning at 7 on Apple Podcasts, Spotify — wherever you pod-- and also at miamiherald.com. Find our entire show catalog with all 317 episodes HERE. (We also simulcast on Sirius XM radio Mondays from 5 to 6 p.m.)
Listen wherever you get your podcasts or (for even more fun) watch on our GCS YouTube channel.
Our podcast debuted in March 2020 just as the pandemic hit (coincidence; don’t blame us) and we thank you all, our pod family, for your great and growing support. Please continue to listen, rate, review, subscribe (it’s all free) and tell friends and family, too!
