When South Carolina women’s basketball coach Dawn Staley tweeted out about “our newest family member,” it wasn’t exactly a bulldog. But it wasn’t far off.

That’s injured Gamecocks point guard Lindsey Spann, who has missed the team’s past three games, breaking out her ball-handling skills and getting hounded.
South Carolina comes off finals break Sunday with a 3 p.m. game against Savannah State.
