Tucker Hipps’ parents say they will not stop search for the truth (+ video)
Gary and Cindy Tucker Hipps say they will not drop or settle their lawsuit against Clemson University, Sigma Phi Epsilon and three fraternity members.
They say they want to know the truth about what happened to their son, who died during an early-morning fraternity run at Clemson University in September.
Their pledge to get to the bottom of Tucker Hipps’ death comes the same week that the Oconee County sheriff said his department’s chances of solving the mystery “are slim.” But that doesn’t mean the case can’t be solved, the department’s Capt. Greg Reed said Thursday. Finding out what happened remains a top priority, he said.
Look for more from Hipps’ parents later on thestate.com and in Friday’s State newspaper.
