Deputies: Two injured in shooting at Columbia party

An early morning shooting at a party left two people injured.

Richland County deputies responded to a shots fired call in the 200 block of Foxhunt Road around 12:30 a.m. Sunday, according to news release.

Two teenage males were shot multiple times in the lower body and taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries, the news release said.

Deputies say the victims were invited to a party at the Foxhunt Road residence. While they were standing behind a vehicle, several suspects approached them, according to reports, and one of the suspects fired multiple times at both victims. Acquaintances took the victims to the hospital.
