It’s a girl! Jackie Bradley Jr., wife Erin welcome first child
Boston Red Sox outfielder Jackie Bradley Jr. had quite a day Thursday.
Bradley’s wife, Erin, gave birth to a baby girl, Red Sox manager John Farrell told Boston media Thursday. Her name is Emerson. She is their first child. Bradley also was named AL Player of the Month for May on Thursday.
Bradley, who starred for South Carolina’s national championship teams, has a .331 batting average and has the longest hitting streak in the majors this season at 29 games.
He is expected to rejoin the team Friday, according to reports.
