Gamecocks add defensive line commitment out of Georgia
Since coach Will Muschamp arrived at South Carolina, his staff has been on a mission to shore up the defensive line.
The team added another body there Wednesday morning.
Decatur, Georgia, defensive lineman Devonte Wyatt has committed to the Gamecocks. At 6-foot-4, 260 pounds, he fits the profile of some the other linemen the staff has taken.
“It feels like home,” Wyatt said.
He is listed as an end on his high school film, though some outlets pegged him as a tackle.
He reportedly camped Tuesday at South Carolina and has offers from UAB, USF, NC State, Troy and Oregon State.
