How will Spurrier’s autobiography compare to these coaches’ memoirs?

An autobiography by former University of South Carolina football coach Steve Spurrier is to be released Aug. 30, a day before the Gamecocks kick off the 2016 season at Vanderbilt.

The State will publish excerpts from the chapter detailing Spurrier’s time at USC (yes, it’s handled mostly in a single chapter), and the book is already available online at Amazon, Barnes & Noble and other online outlets. It was co-written with Buddy Martin, who also has written with former University of Florida coach Urban Meyer.

Spurrier’s “My Life in Football” will join a crowded marketplace. Lots of coaches have penned autobiographies and memoirs. So how will the Head Ball Coach’s book stack up against these books?
