The fastest "speedcubers" in the country will puzzle their way to Hilton Head Island next week for the US Nationals Rubik's Cube Championships.

The 11th annual World Cube Association's event will be at Hilton Head Island Beach and Tennis Resort from July 31 until Aug. 2.

Previous competitions have typically featured kids as young as 5 years old and adults as old as 40, according to a news release. Most competitors will be between middle school and graduate school.

This is the first time that the US Nationals will be on Hilton Head, bringing 500 competitors to the island. The beach and tennis resort is booked for the week, according to the event's website.
