Craig Melvin, the national NBC news anchor from South Carolina, will be the commencement speaker at Wofford College graduation on Sunday, May 17.

Melvin, a Wofford graduate, is a national correspondent for the “TODAY” show, and occasional “Weekend TODAY” host.

Other honorees at Wofford’s graduation are banker Hugh C. Lane and Henry C. Giles Jr., president of Spartanburg Community College.
