A South Carolina teen who doesn’t remember the plane landing known as the “Miracle on the Hudson” has a role in a movie about the event, playing the daughter of Capt. Chelsey Sullenberger.

The Herald-Journal of Spartanburg reports 17-year-old Taylor Lee of Landrum plays Kate Sullenberger in “Sully,” a movie directed by Clint Eastwood and scheduled for release next summer by Warner Bros. Pictures.

Lee filmed her scenes last month in Georgia, where she worked closely with Eastwood.

Tom Hanks plays Sullenberger, who in January 2009 guided his disabled plane to land on the Hudson River, saving the lives of all 155 passengers.

Lee says she didn’t meet Hanks but spent a lot of time with Laura Linney, the Oscar-nominated actress who plays her mother and Sullenberger’s wife.
