Music legend Bob Dylan bringing ‘Rough and Rowdy’ world tour to Columbia
Music legend Bob Dylan is including a stop in Columbia on his current world tour.
The icon whose career spans 60 years will perform at the Township Auditorium, according to the venue’s website.
Dylan will bring his “Rough and Rowdy Ways” tour to Columbia for a concert on March 29.
Tickets for the show will go on sale on Friday, according to Township Auditorium officials. Prices for tickets range from $59.50 to $89.50 and max out at $129.50, the venue’s website says.
Dylan’s tour will include a stop in North Charleston on Dec. 27. His show in Columbia will be followed by three performances in North Carolina — Charlotte on March 30, Greensboro on April 1, and Asheville on April 2.
Dylan might be best known for his anthems from the 1960s and 70s, including “Blowin’ in the Wind,” “The Times They Are a-Changin’,” “Like a Rolling Stone,” “Knocking on Heaven’s Door,” and “Tangled Up in Blue,” among others.
In 2020, Dylan released his most recent album, “Rough and Rowdy Ways.”
Dylan is a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. He has sold more than 125 million records, has won 10 Grammy Awards, an Academy Award, the Presidential Medal of Freedom, a Pulitzer Prize and the Nobel Prize for Literature.
