The show is in the process of filming 10 episodes at an 1840s home in the Ansonborough area, according to the Post and Courier.
Filming started on May 1, and the crew will return periodically to film segments through December.
The newspaper reported the home is owned by Mount Pleasant physician Scott Edwards.
The Emmy Award-winning show is in its 39th season and is in Charleston for the first time, according to the Post and Courier.
