Upstate couple featured on HGTV series

Greenville takes the spotlight on HGTV’s “We Bought the Farm,” which airs June 3.

The show, which follows along as couples search for their dream house, will feature Greenville residents Wesley Turner and Daniel Schavey on Saturday’s episode.

Turner and Schavey, who own Augusta Street home décor stores ROOTS An Urban Oasis and 4Rooms, went house-shopping with Realtor Katie Scardo Reid, who took them to see four farmhouses in the Upstate.

The couple’s new home also will be featured in a 12-page spread in the upcoming issue of “athome Magazine,” which will hit newsstands June 9.

The episode was filmed in November. Following Saturday’s initial 11 p.m. airing, the show will be rebroadcast in syndication.
