As if we need another reason to love HGTV, the home improvement network’s newest series will take place right here in South Carolina and features a Greenville native.

Charleston Charm’ will follow Ryan and Krystine Edwards as they renovate a Charleston home. In the pilot episode, the Mt. Pleasant couple will walk a young couple from California through the process of choosing and renovating a home. The series promises to showcase the city’s architecture, lifestyle and landscapes.

According to the network, Ryan Edwards is a Greenville native. He and Krystine met when they worked together for a software company in Charleston.

According to a representative for Krystine Edwards, ‘Charleston Charm’ will not premiere on March 20 as was originally scheduled. This is due to a change in HGTV’s programming schedule format. That new date has not yet been set, but we will keep you posted.
