Dana Andrews, Everything After's arresting singer whose breathy words sting with a metallic bitterness, has tasted a bit of rawk fame. Andrews, who is from Augusta, was a contestant on CBS' "Rock Star: Supernova."
The show, hosted by Dave Navarro and Brooke Burke, featured 15 singers vying to sing lead for a "supergroup" comprised of Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee, former Guns N' Roses guitarist Gilby Clarke and former Metallica bassist Jason Newsted.
Andrews was the fifth contestant eliminated. Listening to Everything After's music and what Supernova, uh, created, one can assume losing was a win for Andrews -- and Columbia’s music scene.
