Dancers for cancer: Lexington Medical wins Pink Glove video contest again
Lexington Medical Center was tops again this year in the international Pink Glove Dance video contest, sponsored by Med-line Industries. The contest’s goal is to honor cancer survivors and raise awareness about breast cancer. This year’s video by Lexington Medical Center features more than 700 employees dancing with pink gloves to the Katy Perry song, “Part of Me.” Among other notable numbers: The video received nearly 15,000 votes and nearly 63,000 You Tube views in the competition; it won first place for the second year in a row among 260 entries; and the center wins $10,000 in prize money, which will be donated to the Vera Bradley Foundation for Breast Cancer.
