Cayce Riverwalk closed due to rising Congaree River

City of Cayce officials announced that the Riverwalk will be closed Wednesday through the end of the week in anticipation of the rising water levels of the Congaree River.

Officials also announced other closures for parks, trails and recreational facilities in the area:

▪  Timmerman Trail - Closed; Expected to reopen next week

▪  Thomas Newman Boat Landing - Closed for repairs

▪  Riverland Park Entryway Park - Closed for planned improvements

▪  Granby Gardens Park - Currently open, but will be closed from Nov. 16 - January 2016 for Christmas in Cayce
