Blythewood Art Center to close

The Blythewood Art Center will close its doors at the end of January, officials announced Friday.

The arts organization Bravo Blythewood has operated the art center and craft shop at 152 Blythewood Rd. for the past two years.

The lack of classroom space for arts activities and the departure of operations coordinator Jean Bell contributed to the closing, according to a Bravo Blythewood statement.

The Blythewood Art Center’s last day of operation is Sunday.
