Update: I-20 wreck near airport cleared

The S.C. Department of Transportation is reporting a wreck near the exit for the Columbia Metropolitan Airport off of Interstate 20 is cleared.

The S.C. Department of Transportation is reporting the wreck scene on westbound Interstate 20 in north Columbia has been cleared, though another wreck may cause some traffic delays

Around 9:16 a.m., SCDOT reported another wreck on I-20 westbound happened at exit 58, the Columbia Metropolitan Airport exit, in West Columbia.

The wreck has closed a right lane in westbound traffic, though the wreck is slowing traffic in both directions of travel.

A vehicle wreck on Interstate 20 in north Columbia is causing some delays during this morning’s rush hour.

The wreck reported around 8:15 a.m. occurred in the westbound lane of I-20 at exit 70, the Fairfield Road exit.

The S.C. Department of Transportation reported a left lane of westbound I-20 is closed. Traffic cameras show some delays in both westbound and eastbound traffic.
