Video: How Refashionista created a gown from tacky Christmas sweaters
We “commissioned” the “Refashionista” Jillian Owens to take tacky Christmas to a new level this year.
Owens, who runs a blog documenting her “refashions” of vintage and thrifted clothes, took six holiday sweaters from Revente’s Second Chances and sewed them into a tacky (but nicely draped) Christmas gown. All it took was a “Franken-dress” pattern she made from two different dresses and some time, and Owens was ready to take the tacky sweater crown.
