Upstate businessman on Thursday’s ‘Price is Right’ TV game show

David Angel, president of Angel Insurance & Financial Services in Rock Hill, will be on “The Price is Right” Thursday.

In his Facebook post Angel said, his family, Jana, Alexandria, and Savannah are on the front row left and Jan and he are right behind them in the show audience.

“Can’t say anymore till after the show, but promise you a laugh or two. Drew Cary is great and we had a ball,” Angel posted on Facebook.

Angel is a Rock Hill High School and Clemson graduate. He played basketball at both schools. He was an All-American at Clemson where he led the Tigers in scoring and rebounding. Angel is a member of the York County sports hall of fame.

In 1990 he purchased his father’s insurance agency.

The show airs at 11 a.m. on WLTX (CBS) in Columbia. The show is celebrating Decades Week. Host Drew Carey continues a week-long series that features a different decade every day, and Thursday’s episode revolves around the 2000s.
