Celebrating 80 anniversaries of gowns, glitz and glamor, the Miss South Carolina pageant has returned to The Township in Columbia, where two young women will be crowned Miss South Carolina and Miss South Carolina Teen this weekend.

“We have beautiful young ladies from all across our state that are competing and I’m impressed by all of them,” said Chaz Ellis, vice president of the Miss South Carolina Scholarship Organization. “To be at this point in their life and taking this opportunity so seriously and doing all they can to represent and be a state ambassador for South Carolina is amazing.”
