Southern Living featured Columbia’s 701 Whaley in its “11 Best Venues To Get Married in South Carolina” list earlier this month.

The magazine wrote it loved the space “for the original wood columns and the touch of historic charm that add character and romance.”

701 Whaley was built in 1903. The brick building first served as a community center for Olympia mill workers and was renovated in 2009 and 2010.

It was the only Columbia location to make the list. Charleston took five of the 11 entries.
