Opening date for brewery in Curtiss-Wright Hangar delayed

Things don’t always go as planned — especially when you’re trying to open a business by a certain date.

The latest example is Hunter Gatherer Brewery at the Curtiss-Wright Hangar at Owens Field. According to a Facebook post, the opening date of Dec. 21 is being pushed to the first week in January due to equipment issues. The boiler and chiller equipment are not working properly.

When the 13,000 sq. ft. brewery does finally open, expect to find an observation deck and event space in addition to the tap room and a kitchen that will dish out appetizers, salads and thin crust pizzas.

In the meantime, you can always head over to Hunter Gatherer’s Main Street location for an ESB, wheat or pale ale.
