No, really!

After a number of starts and stops and delays due to construction and equipment failure, Hunter-Gatherer has posted an official opening date for the Curtiss-Wright Hangar location at Owens Field.

According to a Facebook post, the doors will officially open at 5 p.m. January 19. Cheers, indeed!

Kevin Varner, who owns and operates both locations, has said that the renovated space — a 13,000-square-foot airplane hangar that dates to 1929 — will feature Hunter-Gatherer’s second brewery location, a tap room and event space and a kitchen for appetizers and thin crust pizzas. The original Hunter-Gatherer brewpub is at 900 Main St.
