A popular Columbia coffee shop’s Main Street location will close temporarily because of a staff shortage.

Starting Saturday, anyone wanting a cup of coffee from Drip on Main coffee will have to instead go to the store’s Five Points location “until further notice,” said Tracey Ortiz, a barista at Drip on Main.

Drip on Main has been trying to recruit a full-time barista since at least March, according to the company’s Facebook page. Earlier this month, Drip on Main offered a starting pay of at least $16 per hour, health care benefits, paid vacation and a $500 signing bonus, according to a Facebook post.
