Chick-fil-A Just Confirmed the Return of a Cult-Favorite Summer Shake-And That's Not All

Chick-fil-A is bringing back several fan-favorites this summer-and we're not just talking about menu items.

On Thursday, the popular fried chicken chain revealed that this season it's reviving several "timeless favorites" across multiple menu categories and even bringing back its Cow Appreciation Day, a long-standing tradition that gives deserving fans freebies.

"This summer is a celebration of the fun, flavors and experiences our Guests love the most and ask us to bring back, year after year," Khalilah Cooper, vice president of brand strategy, advertising and media for Chick-fil-A, Inc., shared in a statement on Thursday, adding, "That's what our year of ‘Newstalgia' is all about – delivering timeless favorites with fresh new twists, allowing a new generation of Guests to experience our 80-year heritage in a way that feels new, yet nostalgic, and unmistakably Chick-fil-A."

Chick-fil-A Brings Back Fan-Favorite Peach Treats, Honey Pimento Chicken Sandwich and More This Summer

According to the official press release, Chick-fil-A's famous Peach Milkshake and Peach Frosted Lemonade are set to return in just a few weeks, along with its Pineapple Dragonfruit beverages and Honey Pepper Pimento Chicken Sandwich. To turn up the fun, guests will even notice that this year, its Pineapple Dragonfruit is coming with a new Sprite!

• Peach Milkshake: The beloved peach-flavored milkshake is back, returning for its 17th year!
• Peach Frosted Lemonade: Chick-fil-A's popular peach flavors blended up with the chain's soft-serve.
• Pineapple DragonfruitBeverages: Tropical pineapple and dragonfruit flavors blended into the customer's choice of Lemonade, Frosted Lemonade, Iced Tea, Sunjoy and now, Sprite.
• Honey Pepper Pimento Chicken Sandwich: Originally debuted in 2023, it's been back every year since. It offers a twist on the classic CFA Chicken Sandwich, featuring a chicken filet that's drizzled with honey, topped with Southern-style pimento cheese and served on a toasted bun with pickled jalapeños.

All of the summery menu items will be available nationwide beginning Monday, June 8, for a limited time.

Chick-fil-A Cow Appreciation Day Is Also Making a Comeback-What to Know

Chick-fil-A's Cow Appreciation Day will then return a few weeks later. For those new to the tradition, guests who visit participating restaurants dressed in their best cow-inspired attire will receive a free entrée from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. local time, while supplies last. Kids who show off their spots and best "mini-moo makeovers" will receive a new ‘Cow Kart' toy to celebrate the day-but the offer is only valid for one day only, so mark your calendars!

Cow Appreciation Day will return to participating stores nationwide on Tuesday, July 14.
