A well-known national restaurant has opened its doors across from Lexington High
There’s a new spot for tacos, nachos and more near a major high school in Lexington.
Taco Bell, which has thousands of Mexican fast food locations across the U.S., recently opened a new location at 2464 Augusta Highway in Lexington. The restaurant, which had grand opening banners and signs out front last weekend, is directly across the street from Lexington High School.
The new Augusta Highway Taco Bell serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, with drive-thru and dine-in options. It is open from 8 a.m. to 2 a.m. daily, according to the Taco Bell website.
The Taco Bell joins a corridor with a host of other nearby businesses, including Pep Boys, Lowes Foods, Little Caesars, Starbucks, McDonald’s, Boho Pizza & Brew, Jersey Mike’s, Sonic Drive-in and a host of others.
And the Augusta Highway corridor near Lexington High School is set to grow with even more businesses. The Victory Village shopping center is under construction in the 2500 block of Augusta Highway. Businesses already announced for that development include Target, Academy Sports, Chipotle, and Dave’s Hot Chicken, with more announcements set to come.
About 17,000 cars per day travel down that section of Augusta Highway, per SC Department of Transportation data.
