There’s good news for fans of the shuttered Goatfeathers in Five Points.

It’s been reimagined as Goat’s – a wine, craft cocktail bar and restaurant headed up by former Goatfeathers manager and bartender Olando Opie Patterson.

It is expected to open in the same Five Points location, 2017 Devine St., in the next couple of weeks, if not sooner.

Patterson secured the lease in March and has been working on the building off and on since then.

He hired staff in anticipation of opening in early October but the Oct. 4 floods go in the way.

The menu is still being finalized, but expect a wide selection of wines – perhaps flights, he said, so that people can try different types of wine – along with signature cocktails.

When Goat’s opens, hours will be 4 p.m. to midnight Monday through Saturday, he said.
