It’s that time of year. Time to test your chili recipe against all comers at The Palladium Society’s Chili Cook-Off, Feb. 27 at Music Farm Columbia.

In its 18th year, the annual Chili Cook-Off features a variety of chili recipes from regional cooks, judging by local celebrities, cash prizes for the winning cooks, and live music from local bands. Deadline to enter is 5 p.m. Feb. 8. The $25 entry fee covers one chili entry plus two tickets (for cook and one guest). Want to taste, rather than cook? Advance tickets $20 for Palladium Society members, $25 for Historic Columbia members, $30 for general public; all tickets $40 at the door. Ticket price includes all you can eat chili, wine and beer, and all proceeds will benefit Historic Columbia.
