CUPID’S CHASE LIVE LOVE RUN 5K will be 10 a.m. Feb. 13, Maxcy Gregg Park, 1806 Blossom St. Registration costs $30 before Feb. 12 and $40 the day of the event. Proceeds will benefit people with disabilities. Register at comop.org/cupidchase/ and click on “Columbia.”
LOURIE CENTER is offering Funga African dance classes 11 a.m.-noon Saturdays through March 19, 1650 Park Circle. Funga is a welcome dance from Liberia that is low impact with gentle stretching and rhythmic movements. Classes are taught with live drumming. Free and open to adults of all ages. MGC LONG RUN 15K/5K will start 7:45 a.m. Saturday. The courses for the 15k and relay starts on Lady Street and takes runners through downtown Columbia and into Cayce and West Columbia. The 5k starts on Lady Street and goes around downtown Columbia. Event will also feature a Kid’s Fun Run. Registration ranges from $10-$50. Register at mgclongrun.com.
WESTIDE CHRISTIAN ACADEMY 5K will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the school, 554 Pinewood Road, Sumter. One-mile fun run starts at 9 a.m. Registration costs $30. Register at strictlyrunning.com or at the school.
