LOURIE CENTER is offering Funga African dance classes 11 a.m.-noon Saturdays through March 19, 1650 Park Circle. Funga is a welcome dance from Liberia that is low impact with gentle stretching and rhythmic movements. Classes are taught with live drumming. Free, open to adults of all ages. RUN HARD COLUMBIA MARATHON WEEKEND will start 11:30 a.m. Saturday near the S.C. State House, 1100 Gervais St. Event will include a marathon, a half marathon, a marathon relay, a 5K and a kids’ 2K. Registration ranges from $25-$185 depending on the event. Register at runhardcolumbiamarathon.com.
WOODLANDS 5K AND PLAY will be 8:30 a.m. March 12 starting at Meadowfield Elementary School, 525 Galway Lane. Registration ranges from $30-10. Proceeds will benefit the school. Register at strictlyrunning.com.
