The Orchard, an upscale student housing community in Columbia’s Olympia neighborhood, is expanding. The latest phase will consist of 28 three-bedroom units along Bluff Road where Ohio Street dead ends.

The main Orchard development is just a half block away, bounded by Bluff and Olympia Ave to the south and Virginia Street on the west. When The Orchard opened in 2015, the 18 cottage-style four-bedroom homes were already pre-leased. The units feature stainless steel appliances, granite counters, tile bathrooms, individual security systems, 48” flat screen televisions and private parking.

According to The Orchard’s spokeswoman, Phase Two will be completed by USC’s Move-in Day, Aug. 8, and all units have been pre-leased.
