Already the home of SC SGI-USA Soka Gakkai Buddhist Community Center and a division of the S.C. Department of Motor Vehicles, The Shops at O’Neil Court is undergoing a revitalization with new a restaurant and shops on the horizon.

Pockets is a new bar and restaurant owned by Tracy Green that will be located on the corner of the building closest to O’Neil Court. The space will feature four pool tables, seven big-screen televisions, and a bar and restaurant serving wings, nachos, fish and fries and other bar-food favorites. Green is shooting for an opening date of Feb. 1, after she finishes hiring waitstaff and kitchen help. Pockets’ hours will be Monday through Thursday noon to midnight, and Friday through Sunday 1 p.m-1 a.m.

Unlimited Hands-On Science is an after-school program focused on STEAM Education (science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics) for children grades pre-K and up. The organization recently relocated to O’Neil Court and is taking registration for spring after-school programs and will soon post the summer camps calendar. www.unlimitedhandsonscience.org

Also, The Rack, a consignment shop, will be moving in a space near Inakaya.
