Columbia's packed April festival menu has a new big event for food and wine lovers
Can’t get enough of local food and great wine? You might want to attend the very first Columbia Food and Wine Festival, Sunday, April 15 in Five Points.
A co-production of The Five Points Association and Free Times, the festival will run along Saluda Avenue, from Blossom to Greene. Ticket prices will be announced Feb. 7 with general admission and VIP tickets available. Festival-goers must be 21 years old or over to attend.
Other food-related events scheduled for April include:
April 7 & 8: Columbia International Festival, with food, performances and more
April 22: Main Street Harvest Dinner, with chefs from Bourbon, The Oak Table and The Whig
April 28: Back to the Roots Festival at City Roots, with hands-on experiences with farming and food, wine, beer and cider.
April 28: Food Truck & Craft Beer Festival at SC State Fairgrounds, a gathering of food trucks from South Carolina and the Southeast
And several others with dates to be announced: Sparkleberry Country Fair, SC Cornbread Festival, Lower Richland Sweet Potato Festival, Sweet & Savory Chefs’ Competition, and Wine Tasting at Riverbanks Botanical Garden.
