18-carat gold baby cribs? Things that Beyonce and Jay-Z have in their contract riders

All artists on tour like to be surrounded by certain items that help reduce the stress of touring and allow for a comfortable, relaxing space between shows.

Beyonce and Jay-Z, currently on their On The Run II tour, are no different.

When the mega couple’s tour lands in to Columbia, SC, on Tuesday, Aug, 21, here are some of the items listed in their concert riders, according to Heat magazine:

Beyonce wants her dressing room to be kept at exactly 78 degrees, and there are to be rose-scented candles and a chef on hand. On past tours, she is known to have demanded baked chicken legs, breasts and wings — heavily seasoned with garlic, salt and pepper, and cayenne.

Jay-Z wants his dressing room to be a cool 71 degrees and chilled bottles of his Ace of Spades Champagne (he owns an interest in the Armand de Brignac brand). A quick look on the internet shows that a single 750 ml bottle of the Brut Gold champagne will set you back around $300.

If the children are joining the couple on tour — there’s six-year-old daughter Blue Ivy and the 14-month-old twins Rumi and Sir Carter — the rider requests versions of the twins’ 18-carat gold-plated cribs, along with silk bedding and changing mats. The kiddos will also be accompanied by four nannies.

Don’t worry though, the Carters can afford the extras. According to Billboard magazine, the OTR II tour is on track to be one of the highest-grossing tours for the couple. With 36 stops throughout Europe and North America, higher ticket prices ($1,200 for a single VIP Runway Experience ticket at Columbia’s Williams-Brice), and possible add-on dates, the couple could bring in up to $200 million.
