Farrell: Poh, the Instagram-famous dog, to make stop in SC on Monday as part of bucket list tour
Poh, the Instagram-famous and terminally ill dog who is making his way down the East Coast on a bucket list tour with his owners, will stop in Beaufort this afternoon.
Poh will visit Animal Medical Center of the Lowcountry at 154 Robert Smalls Parkway, where he will receive a "spa treatment" from veterinarian Dr. Julie Buzby. The 15-year-old dog was diagnosed earlier this year with tumors on his kidneys and liver.
Buzby is one of the people behind ToeGrips, small wearable nail covers that help special-needs dogs with their mobility. Poh, who has more than 100,000 followers on Instagram, has used ToeGrips and will receive acupuncture as part of his visit.
This morning, Poh was in Myrtle Beach, where he visited the beach and received a visit from a Myrtle Beach Police Department K9 officer. Check back later for more details about Poh's Lowcountry visit.
