Concert to benefit animal rescue

Jillian’s, 800 Gervais St., is hosting a charity concert Friday night to help area furry friends.

The concert will feature the bands Osara, Pynte and A Light Divided.

Doors will open at 8 p.m., and the cost is $5 per person. Attendees must be 21 years and older.

Proceeds from the concert will benefit Benson’s Pals Animal Sanctuary. The nonprofit provides forever homes for abused, abandoned and neglected animals. Benson’s Pals director Laci Farrell said the organization has more than 60 animals.
