Lindsey Dangerfield, Jason Speake marry

Lindsey Leigh Dangerfield and Jason Eric Speake, both of West Columbia, were united in marriage Sept. 10 at the S.C. State Museum in Columbia. Wes Church officiated the 7 o’clock ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of John Randal Dangerfield and Becky Hudson Dangerfield of Cayce. She is the granddaughter of Thomas and Italean Hudson and Richard and Frances Dangerfield, all of West Columbia. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and is employed as a clinical nurse manager at Providence Health.

The groom is the son of James Joseph Speake and Patricia Ellen Speake of Ninety Six. He is the grandson of Richard and Marjorie Meyer of Somonauk, Illinois, and the late Jake and Katie Speake. He holds a Bachelor of Science in accounting and Master of Business Administration and is employed as a senior project manager at S.C. Power Team.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents. Pianist Mark Catoe provided music.

Matron of honor was Bridgett Elstad Leaphart of Lexington. Bridesmaids were Lauren Lane of Mauldin; Mary Creech and Megan Pressly, both of West Columbia; Whitney Smith of Charleston; Brandy Speake of York. Madison Csonka of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Kelsie Walrath of Lexington were flower girls.

Best man was the groom’s father. Groomsmen were Adam Speake of York; Moe Brown and Corey Dangerfield, both of Columbia; Brock Dixon of Greenwood; and Henry James Leaphart of Lexington. Colt Gamble McKinney of Roswell, Georgia, and Brice Hudson Crowe of West Columbia were ring bearers.

Other participants included Savanna and Caroline Pittman and Bailey Crowe, all of West Columbia.

A reception followed at the S.C. State Museum.

After their honeymoon in British Virgin Islands, the couple will reside in West Columbia.
