Hayley Elia, Corey Young to wed

Kim and Jerry Elia of Columbia are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Hayley Jean, to Corey Daniel Young, son of Daniel and Judy Young of Columbia.

The bride-elect, a resident of Savannah, Georgia, is the granddaughter of Jean Watson Gregson of Columbia and Tom and Stacy Johnson of Orange Park, Florida. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from the Honors College at the University of South Carolina and a Masters of Public Health from Emory University. She is employed as a JOC Analyst with eviCore healthcare.

The bridegroom-elect, a resident of Savannah, Georgia, is the grandson of the late Hazel Yates Hill and Willie Ray Hill of Hickory, North Carolina; the late Patricia Lackey Young of Charlotte, North Carolina; and the late Evelyn and Mitchell Carroll Young of Kannapolis, North Carolina. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in American politics from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. He is employed as a first lieutenant in the United States Army.

The couple plans a December wedding in Savannah, Georgia.
