Amber Bryant, Thad Ott to wed

Mr. and Mrs. James Robert Bryant Jr. of Orangeburg announce the engagement of their daughter, Laura Amber Bryant, to William Thad Ott of Mount Pleasant, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Lewis Ott Jr.

Miss Bryant is the granddaughter of Ms. Nita Buhler Haynes of Orangeburg, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Edward Conley of Elloree, Mrs. Mary Jeter Bryant of Orangeburg, and the late Mr. James Robert Bryant Sr.

The bride-elect earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of South Carolina. She is employed as an insurance agent by Robert Bryant and Son, Inc. in Orangeburg.

Mr. Ott is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Amos Johnson of Charleston and the late Mr. and Mrs. John Lewis Ott of Charleston.

He also earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of South Carolina. Mr. Ott is employed as director of construction by Wishrock Housing Partners and Investment Group.

A March wedding is planned on Daniel Island.
