In their own words

Q: How did you meet?

A: While attending Presbyterian College, Det was on the golf team, and Olivia played basketball.

Q: Tell us about the proposal.

A: The surprise proposal was planned around a weekend getaway to New York City to celebrate Det’s brother’s birthday. As the couple walked to dinner alone, Det insisted that they take the scenic route through Washington Square Park. As the couple walked under the arch, Det got down on one knee asking for Olivia’s hand in marriage. With uncontrollable excitement, Olivia said, “YES!”
