In his own words
Q: How did you meet?
A: A mutual friend introduced us.
Q: Tell us about the proposal.
A: We took a tour of the Biltmore Estate house in Asheville, North Carolina, with the Christmas decorations up. Afterward, we went for a walk in the garden. We stopped to sit on a bench overlooking the garden and the house. I got down on one knee and presented a ring and asked her to marry me! She, of course, said yes!
Q: What was your favorite part of the wedding day?
A: Having all our families there together.
Q: How did you choose the venue where you were married?
A: The church is where I have been attending for over a decade.
Q: What was the significance of the music played during your ceremony?
A: We wanted the traditional wedding music, and it was beautiful!
Q: Did you have something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue? What were they?
A: An old petticoat, a new dress, a borrowed veil and a blue garter.
